im hearing all these things about after mods done to your car you can or have to reset the ecu so the car learns what you have done to it so it performs better than it was stock. is this nessary to reset the ecu? also what are the steps to reset the ecu, just disconnecting the battery for 1 min or so? if not what are the steps?

the mods i have done is headers (genie) 2 1/2" exhaust 2 mufflers, hi flo cat (redbak) and a CAI 3" mandrel bend piping from box to throddle body (poddy in the box).

thanks Sam

Disconnect the battery as you said and wait 10 mins.
Personally i think your car will learn as you drive mate. Its not that big a deal. But yeah, disconnect if ya want.
All the best.

no need to reset the ecu, the only learning it does is idle and light cruising, full throttle settings never change.. if it idles and drives fine then its fine...
