I wanted to buy the SCT X3 flash tuner device for the retuning of my BA falcon(after this whole capa problem). If i buy one from the states will i be able to ship it here in Aus and take it to a tuner to dyno tune for me. Or are there different types of the X3 that wont suit my car?

They are different.

That's right there's a specific Australian version. No tuners here can use the US ones.
