CAR: 1998 EL GLi Wagon i6 auto
Replaced the ecu last week to stop the car from going into limp mode, and it seemed to have helped as the car goes further before limping out now. I could not get any fault codes last time, and now when the car is on the II position and all wires connected for self test, the thermo's start and then wind down and if the car is running as soon as I connect the series light to the 5th top plug from the left the car stalls. Does this mean anything specific that I could check? Either time I connect the self test wires you can hear the ecu working to produce the codes but nothing comes out. PLEASE HELP!
