i dunno, having 50% of the pod covered up with a heat shield, in which the hot air will go around anyway cant be to good for flow & heat retention.

Pods like to breathe, it would be better sitting inside the airbox imo

i think you gotta bash the guard down a bit, as the Ba airbox is taller

Check that thread out as he mentions what he needed to do, I haven't really looked at the ba airbox, but another potential option is maybe heat it and mould it a bit.

Thanks for the link dude. was a great help. One question would the lid of the BA box fit the air box of EF/EL??

The BA airbox bolts straight up to three of the four existing bolt holes, the BA airbox only has provision for three. It's the centre of the underside of the lower portion of the box that fouls the guard, so you would otherwise have to mould that upwards somehow.

I know the BA airbox is about 25% wider than the EB box, and is probably wider than the EF/EL as well, with a different shape at the join. I'm confident the answer to your question is no.

I think you are better off with a BA crosspipe and flextube rather than the setup you just bought. The BA crosspipe pipe is bigger in diameter and smoother, and the flextube better allows for engine movement. But i would use the big mouth snorkel you got.

You really think so? Well it should do something at least and i think it looks more appealing to me then the BA setup.
