Hey guys

Just a quick question with my EF on gas and I have changed the intake setup to the EL style, as you would know there is a rear hose that is connected from the head of the engine and then connects itself to the intake manifold. With gas, it is instead connected to the intake piping.

I have now decided to change some of the piping ( keeping the EL elbow which holds the mixer as well as the rubber joiner ) the rest is metal piping. This leaves me with the issue with the loose end of the hose from the head of the engine, as there is no connector on my metal piping. Does this need to be connected to somewhere, if so, does anyone have any ideas on how i could go about connecting the other end of this hose?

either drill and tap the fitting into the pipe or find a plastic beather piece that sits under the ICS on the throttle body which is what the factory LPG setups used

I came across this while I was browsing the interwebs.
Custom piping might not be as hard as we think

my ba falcon 4.0l n/a home style cia.

1.just when to the wreckers an got a intake pipe off an au falcon.the bit that comes straight off the air box.

2. just cut the au intake down a bit an squish it down your ba air box ensuring it is air tight too.then put a pod filter on it.(i got a flat head screwdriver and hammer to wack in down there)

3. cut hole in the bottom and side of the air box.cut the hole in far side near the wing & head light where it will help get cold air and upgrade to big snorkel. yer cheering (: if any body else does this setup to can you please give me feedback on how it worked for you.

have a look a pic's if they worked

1.just when to the reakers an got a intake pipe off an au falcon.the bit that comes stright off the air box.

2. just cut the au intake down a bit an squish it down your ba airbox enshouring it is air tight too.then through a pod filter on it.(i got a flat head screwdriver and hammer an wacked in down there)

3. cut hole in bottom of airbox and side where it will help get cold air and upgrade to big snorkle. yer cheering (: if any bodyelse does this setup to can you please give me feedback on how it worked for you or if it's s**t.

Fitting a Typhoon snorkel into the BA airbox, you will get direct cold air from under the headlight area for your pod filter. Your setup will work well in spring but once summer comes along, you might suffer from heat soak.

Good idea anyway..... cheers,....

cheeers....

pretty much any snorkel will fit in. i run a BA XR6T unit which is the same size as the AU tickford one however you need to drill new holes for the screws for it to fit.
