that stock elbow is pretty good, not restricting at all....

i did a before and after dyno run with it, and replaced it with a 3" mandrel bent section and gained nothing at all....

its also good because there are no bonnet clearance issues with it either, which most people get when you run a 3" pipe over the rocker cover.

I think I'm going to go back to using the EL rubber elbow for that very reason, lol. Mine slightly rubs the bonnet bracing which I temp fixed with some foam. The main problem I've just noticed is my 3" joiner off the throttlebody has been rubbing on the accelerator cable bracket and has almost worn through 2 ply's :o

I've been driving it daily for a week and a half, you wouldn't even know it was blown. It drives great.
I love lumpy cams, but the drivability of this is heaps better. Plus, unlike a cam, this uses fuel like a stock motor, unless you put the boot in. A big cam sucks the juice in traffic conditions because it's not in it's peak operating range.

I am taking it easy, keeping the boost gauge on the vacuum side of '0', until I get a better fuel pump and get it on the dyno, so no figures yet.

I really like the twin T/B set up too. Need to do something about sheilding the pod though.
I have to have it facing the way it is for it to fit. The HID ballasts on the stock headlight cap are in the way.

they were trying something on fordforums making a hot air intake? having the pod above the headers to make it suck hot air? i think it was a stupid idea but they had their thoughts that it was better than cold air lol

Maybe they were inspired by hot-vapour engines?

Clean it every time you would normally change your air filter? I clean mine when I do my oil changes, so every 10,000km.

To clean it, bucket of HOT soapy water. Soak it, scrub it, and then let it dry COMPLETELY for a day. If it isn't dry, you will get water going into your throttle body, and it will cause miss fire lol enjoy :)
