Ok Guys [and girls],

I have a 99 AU1 XR8 which i have now learned has smartshield, the car is a write-off so naturally I'm not going to be driving this one. However the plan was/is to transplant the engine and ECU into my EF2 Mont, this should of been easy as the assumption was smart lock and smart lock...

So the big question is... Can i just run the XR8's ecu and just use my current BEM and not worry about the smart shield crap?

Or is this going to be a very big thing?
