G'day guys,
I have an EL XR6 manual and I just changed the starter motor and the idle module, to find my car stalling when I pull up to stop... If I put the fan on it keeps running and if the car is cold she idle's just fine. Can't find any air leaks as such, but it seems like there an air leak... I also changed the the distributor and coils 18 months ago, so I'm pretty certain it's not the manifolds gasket either... The question I'm asking is... Do I need a new ECU or map sensor? Is so I have access to an EL Fairmont Ghia ECU and can get a J3 chip to convert the ECU to a manual... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
