something very strange happened today while i was driving my mate around town.

i was arguing with him about about my car being low on power. he though i was dreaming and i went WOT.

sure enough, the thing was gutless (once again). but it wouldnt rev over 4k. in fact it got to about 3800 and sort of stopped (i do realise this is where the BBM transfurs)

however i think the pump isnt supplying enough pressure. filter and injectors are both replaced. when i take the vac line off (and block off the manifold side) the bad idle doesnt change. so even with the injectors getting full pressure its still not right. the only thing is the revs dont hang.

i'm going to grab a pump off ebay. what model am i looking for? ive seen theres a few different ones that im not so sure about. any guidence would be greatly appreciated.

You may as well up grade to a walbro now if your planing future mods. my 2c.

hmm, not really planning any more earth shattering mods to this car. maybe a flux capacitor in the boot or something or a fake BOV to make it drift sideways frequently

got a part number for that? and roughly how much more is it going to sting me?
