Back when I worked at southside ford in brisbane there were about 3 or 4 upgrade programs we put in for problems with had to start when cold , excess crank and more. So its probably just a factory later tune

ok I spoke to the shop todayand asked them what was special about it and they told me that it wasn't so much that it was special, just that it was an advaced program that they hadn't seen before. It didn't appear to target any particuar area but more of an overall tidy Up of the whole setup

Dude, I hate to break it to you but you don't have a special tune. Remember the dyno day in Penrith back in feb...

6. Thomas - AU XR6 - 124.5kw
7. Chris - Fairmont Ghia - 123.8kw

Now, my Ghia does not have a special tune, and it only had a 2.5" catback exhaust.

now, if you had a special tune the difference between yours and mine would have been more than 0.7 rwkw

No VCT, the Ghia in an EL

The wheels would affect your rwnm, but would have little affect on your rwkw

as KW are a derivative of NM, how would one be affected and not the other? Im not saying that one car is better than the other, just questioning the facts.

it was my understanding that as the 20's have a larger diameter than the 16's they can't spin the rollerss a** fast there for a lower power figure will be had. There's approx 8% difference and that would account for the lower Reading

I do agree with a lower reading overall, however to put it in to perspective, HP = (TQxRPM)/5252, so if your torque is down, then its obviously going to affect your HP, and vice versa
