{USERNAME} wrote: im not 100% as i havent physically tried it, but it almost looks like the series 1 au map plug could fit ba xr6t map??? ill find out soon enough... You'll be disappointed... it doesn't fit. You'll either need to cut & solder or get access to a high-precision crimper and a M/F pair of waterproof connectors to make up an adapter harness. It's roughly the same size and shape but, from memory, one plug has square corners and the other has rounded or something. Put it this way... if the AU1 plug just plugged straight into the XR6T TMAP, I would have deemed it worthy of mention at the start of this thread... in bold, red, 72-point caps Unfortunately the AU1 proves to be an orphan yet again or a bastard child... Has there been some development put into AU defs since Rob Herrod took over SCT distribution from CAPA? Last time I updated and ran Advantage 3 (PRP) the WANA def was still braindead.

{USERNAME} wrote: fg n/a plug is the same as the ba xr6t plug. and fg turbo has a different map and plug to above.. That's good info Troy, worth highlighting IMHO. An FG plug from a wrecker should be heaps cheaper than a new plug from CAPA, or the $300 I was quoted by one tuner for a plug...

hI all thankyou for that great information , I am using exactly that setup in my xe , good news is that I found a web page that actually sells that female connector on its own , win !! its supplied with the seal and terminals so it should be a simple process , the web site is www.efihardware.com , down the side bar will be electrical connectors and plugs , click on that , click on the "ford" logo about halfway down the page will be the connector that you require, " ba/f turbo map sensor female connector" simple as registering and buying the item.. hope this helps out ... thanks all

Okay, regarding resistance/voltage values, is there any difference between the FG n/a TMAP and a bfII n/a tmap? Unsure whether ba's and bf's share the same part number.

the au 2 , ba and bf n/a share the same tmap sensor, afaik the fg n/a t map has the same p/n and values as the ba/bf turbo t map..

Thanks Troyman,
Been chasing a rough idling issue ever since I did a FG manifold swap. Could a FG n/a tmap on a BF n/a cause this? |

if the voltage values are different then yes it could, but it should also have issues under load aswell..

I can't feel a 'Miss' under load, though it may still be effecting performance.
Thanks mate :] |

In short, after a full day of free dyno tuning at Chisholm tafe (apprentice mechanic advantages ftw) my car's running rich as balls up top end. Rich as in, 10.9 stoichs.
Could the fg n/a tmap makes b's run that rich? |

yes, the voltage is different at load points. you should be able to fit the ba/bf tmap to the fg manifold..

Yeah it fits, just the plugs are different. Time to hit up a wreckers, or that EFI Hardware site.

I know this is old but guys can you tell me what colour wire on a XR6t tmap sensor reads pressure and if I was to put a potentiometer in that wire which one would I need .
Long time no see either boys . Cheers.

FG turbo map sensor number is 0 261 230 129 (bosch)and looks like the BA NA plug and sensor(this may be late FG as i have noticed different part numbers for the fg). Info i have got says its a 2.5 bar sensor. Came with the manifold i got along with the injectors etc. wire colours line up with the BA NA plug also. Shouldnt have to mess with the wiring at all........hopefully.
