I dont think its fake its just that they are charging people s**t for a 5 cent resistor. All you have to do is add a resistor to fool the ECU that there it is colder air than it should be so it adds more fuel. Falcons run on the richer side as it is.

why pay $30 plus for a 5-10 cent resistor thats the real scam not what it does
doesnt the computer re edjust's itself after awhile of the resister being in place to return fuel useage to a stock level?

So I have been told that is what happens but for a dyno day or something like that its a neet trick LOL

there are better ways to cool down incoming air and thats to have a decent intake setup to start with.

any one got some 75mm water pipe handy. get rid off that 55mm restriction in your airbox with that and throttle response is hell of alot better and couple that with a decent snorkal and you will get better results.

its not really fake its that it is crap...
you hit the nail on the head..fordfreak
the ford ecu will learn its way around the chip mod.
the chip makes the ecu think the intake air is cold therefore it will supply more fuel to make it richer but the 02 sensor will sence the rich mixture and will slowly return the mixture back to stock..
and possibly give out a act sensor fault..
and all these readings do nothing on full throttle as the ecu goes into closed loop mode(factory settings for full throttle)
so even if the chip give you a little more throttle responce it will be canceled out on full throttle..

pit my home made intake against one of these mods anyday. Plus you get that added bonus at full throttle LOL

can send pics if you like and I wont charge you anything LOL

I only posted it as a puplic service so that hopefully people dont get sucked in by the new package. Its not like I was asking if they were any good, you can still see the ends of the resistor sticking out of the box for f's sake

And you've known all your life that there is no merit in a product like this? Let's not just assume everyone has a basic understanding of how these things work.. A lot of people who bashed it and posted weren't 100% sure. I agree it's a pain having to see thread after thread on it but with the effort you put in belittling someone you could just say no it doesn't work.

I have said numerous times it doesnt work.
If you believe something on ebay for what $15? will give you a 15hp increase you probably shouldnt do anything to your car other than put petrol in its tank.
