I want to put an AU tickford six into my XW. I will be using either the factory auto or Factory manual. I will also use the Factory ECU. How much wiring will need to be done. What sensors will need to be put in other than those on the engine. And will i need the diagnostics port if i want to flash tune. And what should i do about Smart Lock/Shield?

I would transplant the whole wiring loom into the XW.
There are smartlock bypasses available - PM coupe66 (think that's who does em)
And yes, for a flash you will need teh diagnostics port
