Basically its the header socket off an actual 104 pin EF ECU. I purchased an EF ECU and gutted it. You could conseal all of your joins and everything within the EEC case, or you can just take the header out of it.

Admittadly I paid $50 for the ECU, but i'll be happy to take $20 for whats left over. Failed project costs :D

Hyena, the injector drivers have 2 pins on the connector for the same part of the circuit board - this is to reduce the current flowing through each wire on the DB37 plug...

All the fuel pump relay etc is wired up in the car but you need to remove control from EEC and assign it to MS (yep - bye bye smartlock, your car is now hot-wirable)...

Its fairly straightforward if you examine your EEC wiring diagrams and compare this to the MS wiring diagram.

Dont forget pull-up circuits for shared sensors.

Decided what to do with thermofans? Ive got some notes at home for wiring up to MS - pretty easy to control the thermofan relays with MS n S extra...

Our cars will need tach signal from the PIP connector in EEC (for TFI ignition anyway, not sure about EDIS... maybe IDM?)

Anyone thought about carbon cannister? From what i can tell, only way to control this would be to leave EEC to control.... dunno what inputs EEC needs to do this.

has anyone else got megatune to work with the stimulator

I have been using MegaTune with the stimulator (home made) for sometime now. Both with the MS and MSnSe Firmware. Worked first time.

I have since had Megatuen working on the loom we are building for the Coupe.

The MSnSe comes with a downloader. You run the Download.bat in the MSnSe zip and follow the instructions. It simply puts the MS in boot loader mode and downloads itself, very easy.

It sounds to me like MegaTune is looking at the wrong Com: port. Make sure that is right.

Lol, the ones that us non-LPG users will have venting lots of nasty hyrdocarbons into the atmosphere....

Kiss its sorry a** goodbye and tune the engine to run without it

From what i can gather... the only way to retain these emission devices is to leave EEC with enough inputs to allow it to keep EGR (if wanted) and carbon cannister operational (i think the CC is fairly important...)

LOL. What do you think we've been talking about here for the last dozen or so pages! The MS2 idea has been canned by most for now due to unreliability, but the MS with msns firmware seems to offer all the features that most of us will need, and it's a few bucks cheaper. If you're going to assemble the kit yourself check out glensgarage.com for the parts, I've looked into the group buy and it isn't worthwhile unless we order s**t. If you're not up to doing all the soldering yourself I'll probably be selling a few completed kits shortly

The MS club is a good idea, although I don't know if you'd get the numbers to make it work. A well written doco with heaps of pictures and all the relevant info would probably be almost as useful and it could benefit people Australia wide.

I'm happy to make Fordmods the home of Aussie MS user based support.
