Nice work NF GHia!

I'm going to delete the post from this thread and create a new one.

Perhaps we can get the calibration files for the Ford sensors and make them available for DL, what do you think?

so i have to do all that s**t to get the temp sensor to work did you try a ford one from a aussie ford and not a usa ford cos thats what they talking bout

Hahaha on getting it to work and the temp sensor came out of a ED (I think) from kilysth pick-a-part, after all I'm setting it up for my car and I'm pretty sure all E-series fords had the same sensors (same ECU's etc).

But yeah bit of pissing about but nothing too hard.

Yep just pm me an e/m to post them, cause pm won't take a zip.
I'm guessing if you copy the .inc files to MegaTune and put the .s19 file in the EasyTherm folder then just hit the upload button that should do the trick but I haven't tested that theory
So yeah starting a new thread sounds good and I'll keep my digicam handy for some pics as I Boldly Go Where Others are going.. :D

EDIT!!!

If ya want the files right here http://home.iprimus.com.au/loward/CalFiles.zip

I've started the thread up for you. When I get to work tomorrow I'll change it so you're the author of the thread.

That doesn't work.

Easytherm is the easiest way to u/l the new firmware to the cpu, but, as well as making new inc files which affect only the tuning software, easytherm also updates the tables in the firmware itself.

So, if you just open up easythern, select the s19 file and load it up, it will overwrite the tables in the s19 file with the values that are in easytherm.

Basically, all you're doing is u/ling the default calibration to the cpu. To get around this, you need to input the resistance charicteristics into easytherm before you hit upload and in that case, easytherm automatically generates the inc files and new s19 file for you.... so there's not much point in offering the modified one for people to d/l.

All you need to give people is the three temp/resistance pairs for each sensor so they can put the info into easytherm.

BTW, I've just bought a new car... EFII manual I6 and I've got a MS which I will be putting in with a wideband oxy.

The new car is dual fuel, so the MS will go in when I've decided how I'm going to control the gas side of things. I'll probably make another appearance on this subject once I start the installation.

Just a question...I started a thread.. but thought might just ask here... anyone source there own parts from local electronics distributors? such as jaycar? I need U4 which is a mosfet driver. It's the ONLY thing I'm missing.

Also if anyone wants a sheet with all the parts needed for a V3 board with jaycar part numbers and prices, PM me. It cost me $110+ (I think it was $114 or something) for 2 V3 kits (just the components, meaning everything but the PCB, map, and daughter card/processor.)

Cheers

Join the Australian Megasquirt group on the MS forums. Someone there might have some parts left over from a group buy or point you in the right direction.
