Car wont turn over and on inspection, there is no power to solenoid when turning the key. Does the ECU give the starter power? Or is it directly from the ignition barrel, but with a relay in between? I swapped the relay and it made no difference, is there a fuse somewhere? Any ideas? Could i run a wire from the ign barrel to a relay to the starter and overcome my problem?

To much current needed from Solinoid.
Try to short the starter solonoid where the relay if if it cranks then there is a signal issue from the ignition switch. If not then there is no power feed to the relay. Perform a trace back form the relay to the battery. |
