Ive not kept a list, but Im sure that Galapogos01 has. I can burn you a chip, but Ill charge you more for it, so your better off talking to him about getting one. I can help you with the tuning side of things though, as Ive been playing with the V8 stuff for a while now, and the 6's use a very similar code to the 8's,

Good work mate, what issues are you running into with the charger?

No real problem, I have rising rate fuel reg, 255lph fuel pump, looking at 24pound injectors.. making sure I have all my bases covered..

Only reason the engine is not in the car already is because I haven't converted it to manual yet and want to do that the same time I put the motor in...

Motor is in an engine stand waiting to go. can't wait..

Im not keeping a list, kids. I will update the thread when available, so if you're interested just subscribe to the thread or check back on the site. Im not going to chase you!

The latest update from my supplier is about 2-3 weeks until the programmers are available. He had problems with the parts supplier.

Anyone keen for a chip just hit the site. I sent out phongus' one today and spent a bit of time with kyle on sunday sorting out some issues there (my bad, I stuffed the bin file, sorry guys).

Cheers,
Jason

Yes, I can supply either a Gli manual bin or XR6 bin if you are looking for better timing maps. Both of these can plug into your Auto ECU.

Send me a PM if you need more info, or check out the site.

Speed sensitive steering is all that comes to mind, as its done so on the 5ltrs that Ive converted the EEC's to manual on, one being an NL Ghia and the other an EL Ghia

Is that just a matter of defining the location for speed sensitive steering and copying the data, or will it involve a custom bin with the manual bits copied into a ghia ECU? I have an EL ghia that will be manual in a few weeks.

I might have found how to change it in the 5ltr bins this morning, but Ive not tested it yet. 4ltrs Im not sure of. Prob is that if you want to make it a manual EEC, easiest way is to start with the manual code, but none of the high series came in manual, so your on the right track in saying to find/define it in the bin, but sometimes there are multiple parameters that effect one thing.

I guess I will have to have a good read of the docos you have made regarding definitions, and see if I can find something.

A good start would be to have XR6 auto and EL Ghia bins to compare?

What input does the ECU have in the SS p/s? Little to none I would have thought?

Havent heard of any converted manual ghia owners complain about this before, not sure why it would be a problem with a chip.
