Hrmm... fuk that. I have already read through it and still have this question, I'll make it easy for you seeing as you just got back and are probably tired with mass jet lag, yep im a thoughtful one........

The capabilites of the chip extend:
A. To that of a ChipTorque or PowerChip: Ability to fully tune every aspect of Fuel Injection, Spark, AFR, etc
B. Solely on the ability of the user... you can make the dash lights flash and horn beep to humfry dumpfry with the know-how (through the chip)
C. Rev and Speed Limiter removal
D. Just storing a pre-made tune aka. XR6

Its basically all of the above, apart form the horn. ChipTorque can do a lot less with the EEC than they let on.

I'll be buying the kit that Andrew has for sale very soon. My pig of a Windsor V8 is making day to day driving a real chore, especially with the real lack or idle quality and constant conking out at lights, intersections etc. I also want to make the most of the mods to my engine and exhaust.

For anyone interested, I'll start a thread on my specific application where there can be V8 specific discussion rather than cluttering up this thread.

Good work Barnacus. I am doing the same as a tech guide which I will put on the site to help people get started. Hope to have this online soon, just needs a few finishing touches.

Programmers are now available on the site. Also updated the site considerably to make it easier to find things.

Price is slightly higher. The poor dollar is making it harder and harder to keep the price down!

If you have any questions about the hardware let me know.

I have had a good read in hear and researched some of your site aswell. I even downloaded tunerpro, and will research how to use it.

Am interested in this, i'd like to learn the tuning side of the EEC.

Tell me, will your programmer combined with tunerpro only do your chips, or is it compatible with chiptorque chips aswell??

I see, so i could simply read the chiptorque, alter the tune, and burn it onto a new blank chip anyway?

After a little more research, i will be making some purchases of said blank chip and programmer, and muck around with tunes in my mates guinea pig EF.

yep, thats precisely what I did; fixed ChipTorque's mistakes :)

You could put one in your EB - all you need is an EL ECU & Smartlock. Be the first!

I already have any EF ecu/engine/bbm/smartlock/full loom/interior etc. Does it not work on EF?

Mad s**t. Once the ltd is regoed, i'm going to buy the required gear to start playing. This is a skill that'd be very handy, and make tuning/changes much cheaper.
