MontGas, find my tune @ http://www.techcore.com.au/eec/Binaries/Modified/
Xflow, you're right about having a WB, but a NB is better than nothing. The $50 jaycar kit approximates a WB signal from a NB sensor, and isnt too bad at it (I have one as well as my LC-1). fiftyone, are you using the correct 64k bin for the corresponding xdf? As per the table at http://www.techcore.com.au/eec/technical.html

The size!
As explained previously, an EEC-V has a 256K flash ROM. Of this, 64K is used in the EF/EL application. 256K is the full dump (w/192K wasted space) and 64K is the one used bank in EF/EL. Our chips currently have a 512K flash ROM divided up into 8 banks (for 8 selectable tunes). AU requires 2 banks AFAIK. We will soon have a V2 chip which will suit AU. The definition must match the bin as otherwise all of the offsets are wrong for the locations of the parameters. Jason

As stupid as this may sound, is it possible to add Adaptive Shift parameters from the AU Autos into the EF/EL 4 Speed Autos?
Not having read the whole thread, can one assume that the chip will enable an EF ECU to take AU injectors? The Injectors are something I plan to do with my car, however, something like an Adaptive Shift Protocol for the Transmission would be great as well. Thanks for your time.

the ecu learns around the differences in the injectors if you go down that path. i have a set of AU's in my EL, no ecu mods. still good fuel economy
however, to get them to run a little more efficent a higher pressure is needed BUT NOT ESSENTIAL!

That is the Million Dollar Question. I might just install the bloody things and see what happens. I take it all AU injectors are the same?

all xr and au run the 3bar everything else runs the 2.7
realisticly with a little more flow and less pressure it evens out anyway. seriously i wouldnt worry about it so much

Updated the definitions to include yet more parameters, check them out at http://www.techcore.com.au/eec/technical.html .

i dont have a log per se, but normally update the OP with my progress... though ive been slack lately
added were injector settings (battery compensation & flow rate -- which as you'd expect is different in xr6 vs std ecus), relabeling of spark tables to make them consistent with a new guide im working on, and other small changes i cant quite remember

I havent looked at AU 6 cyl stuff yet. Would be good to kick it off. Some guys on ffau are working on AU V8 stuff in conjunction with Jaysen... will be good to share that around too!
