There's one partially defined AU I6 map floating about but it needs some work. Series 2 is another issue and needs more work. Ah yes, the work piling up already... so much for a holiday!

Naa that wa probably me

BPR said he can do a J3 for the AU, I just need the smartlock removed, tuned for log manifold and manualized

nah im not interested in s**t idling. Also, what about power compensation when u load up the engine with A/C, power steering and going from Neutral to gear??

I'd much rather put an interceptor between the IAC and computer, which would only allow IAC activation when revs get below 900rpm or so.

You just dont understand.
Unplug ISC.
Turn up base idle screw until it just idles when DEAD COLD
My idle is like 600-700 rpm... with a 1673, extractors, exhaust, intake, J3, bored out throttle body... doesnt stall when you turn on the AC, or turn!! Maybe my cars just blessed though aye?

i do understand!..... im just saying i dont want it like that!

Just using the idle screw means u will have to compromise either hot or cold idle.... and i dont want that.

If your ECU is operating correctly and you are using a stock Manual binary or ECU, you should not have "rev hang" issues - it should behave as a stocker does. If this is not the case there will be a fault in wiring (often converted cars do not connect the clutch switch), sensors, incorrectly set base idle or a vacuum leak. Disconnecting the ISC is a workaround which should not be required and leads to poor cold idle, engine stalling when heavily loaded (P/S, AC, Alternator), drivability issues, drivetrain clunking, etc.

Please, no more on this subject in this thread!

Jason, what are u talkin about?... even stock standard cars have a certain amount of rev hang.
Mine is auto with original auto ECU.

Thus "behave as a stocker does" -- a small amount prevents driveline clunk and stalling - a good thing!

Yes, closing the the throttle suddenly can cause the engine to stall...

Interesting comment. I have recently converted my EL Ghia but I have no idea whether the "clutch switch" is connected or not. I have a manual bin chip supplied by yourself and the only clutch switch I know of is the cruise control cutoff for the clutch pedal which I didn't install. Is this the one you're refering to. If it will make my car run even better than it does now I will get one. Cheers

That's not the one. Check a wiring diagram :)

Sorry, i'm not trying to be difficult, I really don't know! There are wiring diagrams for most falcons in the tech section on here, take a look.
