6DNB police ecu J3 program is the auto shift pattern for a 3.23 diff or 3.08 diff.

Thanks.......

Don't know for certain, but I believe it's 3.23.

just want to add that TI have another happy customer, I bought a custom pre programmed chip for my cammed AU1 XR8 Auto ex HP. I wasn't sure what to expect but so far it idles smoother, cruises at light throttle better, can spin the wheels off the line now, and i'm still running 91ron fuel on 98ron tune. so I should expect even better performance.
for $200 i can't complain at all
worst part was being a series 1 AU i had to connect the solder pads and i have never soldered before but it worked, Thanks Jason

Hi Jason,

I've been racking my brain on if a J3 will work with my AU2.

The code on me ecu is 12BE.

Car is an AU series 2, auto sedan. Raptor supercharged, w2a intercooling, stock engine, 4480s, 2.5" exhaust. Can anything be done in the way of a boosted AU2 J3 chip?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Shav,

Definitely have support for AU2. What have you done to the fuel system currently to support the boost? FMU and MAP bypass?

Shoot me a PM with some more detail about the engine and fuel system.

Cheers,
Jason

Hey Jason,

I have a stock std '94 ED XR8. Does your preprogrammed J3 Chip provide better idle quality, fuel economy and AFR's, or do I need to provide a dyno sheet with RPM and AFR details.

Regards
Steve

If the car is stock and in good condition I would have thought all three of those things would be ok?

I can tweak the timing maps to suit Premium fuel which will give a bit of an economy gain and more torque, but with a stock engine your idle shouldn't need tweaking.

Cheers,
Jason

Hey Jason,

I have an early EBII Xr8 auto without smartlock and am in the throws of swapping out a manual setup from an EBII XR8 with smartlock . I'm swapping all the looms and ecu's over but wish to run mine without the smartlock module - as far as I've read this can be bypassed using the j3 chip??
Also my XR8 has GT40P heads, Explorer inlet manifold, YT 1.72 RR's, 65mm TB, AU MAF housing, pacemaker tri y's, thermos, 3 inch exhaust (also the IAT sensor is relocated to the intake tube as per AU due to the manifold change) and it seems to be quite doughy below 2200rpm (after that it hooks along), even can backfire if at or close to WOT and at low revs. I was wondering whether this could be improved on a pre programmed chip without a dyno run (I don't expect miracles, it's just a fair hike to the nearest dyno!) It's always run on 98 RON and the base timing is setup standard (30 deg BTDC as per WSM procedure). I want to get it dyno tuned in the near future but for now any improvement would be great.

Thanks

Wes

Hi Wes,

Will be able to disable smartlock just fine. What's the ECU box code?

The AU MAF body with EB sensor "trick" is a bad one with the stock ECU. Due to the larger body you pass more air without the ECU sensing it, hence the lean condition. I can try to tweak this out via the chip.

Shoot me a PM if you have any more questions.

Cheers,
Jason

Hey guys,

We've had many requests for a MAF based EEC Tuning Guide for V8s, so we've finally put one together! Check it out at {DESCRIPTION}.

Hey guys,

Had a pretty good day at Heathcote on Sunday, as some have already read we turned in a 1/4 mile in 13.85@99.58mph on 6psi! Took loads of video and photos so check out {DESCRIPTION}, {DESCRIPTION} or {DESCRIPTION}.

Thanks mate!

It ran similar ETs (higher MPH) with more boost as I couldn't get it to hook up! If I head back I will have to source some better tyres me thinks. It was more to see what it was capable of and i'm pretty happy with the time, especially seeing it was it's first time at the strip in current form :)

Cheers,
Jason
