Hi All,
Really hoping someone's able to urgently help. Appreciate any information anyone's able to offer! My car's fitted with a Wolf ECU. This has a pin code security feature - basically you are only able to set the code once - to change it the ECU must be sent back to the manufacturer. I was of the understanding that the pin code security had never been activated, and as I had someone break into the car last night, I thought I'd better set it up. Unfortunately it looks like the feature has been activated by one of the previous owners, and I am now not able to start the car - as I do not know the code. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know any way around this? Due to the nature of my question, I would appreciate if any advice could be taken to PM please. Thanks, Justin. |

Thanks mate, all sorted now! Took it back to Wolf - 30 seconds and $100 later it's cleared! I did contact the 3 previous owners and all said that no pin had been set. |

A little, but not much choice! I laughed when he came back with the job done - he literally took it out of my hands, walked into the back room, was there for maybe 20 seconds, and walked back in and said all done! |

Too true! I commented on it, and his reply was that he had the program ready and waiting for me as I'd rang before I arrived. |

I've got the pin setup on my wolf, u can arm and disarm it if u know the pin, quite handy.
Also it the car can't be hotwired as it turn off any signal to the injectors etc In the manual it says that to clear it it must be returned to the manufacturer and your only allowed to set the pin once |

I did read that section in the manual before I tried to set the pin, and I then contacted all previous owners, who all said that no pin had been set. Once I activated the pin code feature, it asked for the pin number - Unfortunately someone HAD setup a pin code on it before I got to it! |
