Ring POWERCHIP on ( 03) 9544 7711 and they will ask for your catch code so have it ready, but they are abit pricey now, i don't think you'll get much change out of $1000, but they could be havin x-mas speacials too.
I/we will keep an eye out for ya!! how's that? :)
Cheers Jason. 8-)

Haha thanks mate, preicate it ;)

FordFairmont, do you have enough knowledge in the area to give a respectable opinion? No offence, just asking. The J3 chips are a non-dyno chip too arnt they? How exactly do they work because I'll admit you cant look past the price, but if it's gonna be no good to me it's not worth anything.

There is one dyno in a 300km radius and I wouldnt expect them to have much experience upgrading/tuning Falcons and most definatly would not expect them to offer a chip for such (have checked already). Which leaves me limited to pre-loaded chips or one hell of a good Ford tuner somewhere that will give me a good dyno + tune package and since the cheapest and most easiest opinion is a pre-laoded chip, it's gonna have to be my chip of choice UNLESS a bunch of you guys gets on and starts raggin bout how sh!t pre-loaded chips are... let me hear those keyboards people...

and there is cheaper again, that also gives you the option to edit the chip to what ever setup you like, but just my 2 cents worth.

BTW you can real time tune EEC IV & V falcons, which is the best way to go about doing it, then burn the cal on to your J3 chip.

Moates Ostrich $175US, Moates Emu $40US, TunerPro RT $30US, and now your real time tuning. F3 chip and Jaybird to burn to it, 135 US and you have all the software and hard ware to tune for the rest of your cars existance

That table looks cool. Would be a great thing to get... how far do the capabilites of a J3 chip & TunerPro extend? Could give us a quick rundown of pros and cons or something like that?

could you go into more detail please cause im interested to hear why?

in other posts you recommend the s**t, but say you wouldnt use ChipTorque products. If you took your car to the Chiptorque headoffice and talked to Lachlen one of the tuners there, you would see what really goes on there & how clever the bugger is and might change your opinion.

from what i have been reading the last few months, the powerchip is just a plug and play chip and more suited to car with just exhaust systems and CAI's. The Chiptorque seems to be a proply tuned chip that needs to be tuned for what is done to your car.
