Hi all

in the process of installing a aftermarket ecu to a EL 4.0L.

Im just wondering wat sensors the auto needs for it to function correctly.

It would need tacho and TPS sensors.

Wat other vital sensors have to stay connected?

I basically want to de-pin the ecu of everything that it dosent need apart from power and wat it uses to control auto.

Thanks

Steven

Speed. The auto's in the e series look for speed not revs for gear changes. They have a varying table with TPS v Speed for each gear change. Use your after market ECU for fuel and ignition only and all should be sweet. The ECU will still need PIP signal for aircon, and for the dash to work properly
