Hey all, no search feature yet, so forgive me.

what does a XR6T injector flow? Stock EB jobs are 19lb right? Stock AU are 19lb right? but a better spray pattern, looking to increase flow to keep up with boost.

Same as a non turbo BA 6, the Ts just run more pressure.
It's been covered a few times, but with the search still a bit d**k I can't find it either.
So from memory they are like 27lb/h @ 3.50bar in non turbo guise and 32lb/h @ 4bar in the turbos?
They have a wider spray pattern for the DOHC head, there was talk on another forum about possible negatives of having the fuel hit the port wall, I don't know enough about it personally to say yay or nay.

If it was pre-economic crash I would probably just buy some bosch 36 or 42lb/h injectors which don't have the wide spray pattern and do that flow at 3bar, but I'm guessing cost has risen a fair bit since I got mine when aussie dollar was like 98c to the USD

the injectors will be going in a turbo EB, I've looked at the 60lb deka's but not prepared to have the option to pump that much fuel into the motor, cause I will use it and break something.

Only looking for something with a bit more flow than the stockers.. maybe some 24lb'ers.. from an AU right?

Dave

You're far more likely to break things with not enough fuel :)

I know but if I am conscience of the fact of what my fuel system threshold is and do not exceed it, then there will be otherthings that do not break.

Not trying to be cheap, just trying to stick to a realistic budget for this build. If I can avoid the expence of $6 or 700 worth of injectors I will.
