why is that? :( i am not engine literate.

BTW Rev and Speed limiter are a good thing...just ask Data_mine.

You could try Megasquirt 2 or what Molloy suggested.

phong =P~

First, read the sticky at the top of the forum a few times.

You dont need anything fancy to run the SOHC falcons EXCEPT if want to keep your ef coilpack setup you need to make sure its compatible. Otherwise you can do what I did and throw a dizzy in.

I personally like the MS2's as they are by far the best bang for buck and have features you need to pay lots of $ for in other brands. Also EMS stingers/8860 or wolf are good. If you stick to popular brands you have more chance of getting help/tuning files of other forum members.

I would steer well clear of unichips and the JMM crap.

The EMS 8860 looks really easy to use.

Im using an autronic SM4 on my BA motor but only because it does dual VCT. A few people on here have them on SOHC motors and they go good.

Microtech's are cheap and do the job.

I really want to try a megasquirt out but dont have the time to put it all together and hope that it works.

Are you going to try and tune yourself?
