Ok I no there is a j3 chip but I got tolled than some times they run bad so I need to know what other stuff is out ther I have a ef wagon auto and I'm spending some money on the motor just need to no wat ecu you all think are good thanks

If your mods are not too rad the std ecu should suffice, just reset it with the new combo.

No such thing as a J3 chip that runs bad. Only cowboy programmers that don't know what they're doing. Get some feedback from people about who is the best for the mods you are considering and go with them.

You are 1000 times better off by slightly tweaking the factory ecu program where necessary, than starting with a blank ecu and trying to re-invent what Ford spent many millions of dollars doing.
