Hi,
I'm planning to do a few mods to my track car: AU bottom End, E-series tickford head with light port work, log manifold, au injectors, 997b cam, vernier, J3 chip, pacemaker comp extractors, Walbro 255 fuel pump. Keeping it NA for the moment. I am looking at getting a ProFlow adjustable FPR (part 13127) I would like to mount it in place of the old Bosch regulator with adding extra piping. Does anyone know what fittings I need to hook it up? I live in the country and can't easily go down to a shop to figure out the correct size threads |

You need to source an old fuel reg from somewhere to butcher. I had a brass elbow and barb bronzed onto the end that fits in the fuel rail. From there you can run a hose to the fuel reg, which can be mounted on firewall or nearby guard. The rest of the plumbing is straight forward.

if your injectors are sized correctly for the HP output, you shouldnt really need to change fuelpressure too far from stock

The local automotive store ( 5 letters starting with an R) wants $230 for it. I might as well save 80 bucks and get one more thing to play with when the car is on the dyno |

until you know what your air fuel is at full throttle I wouldn't waste money on fuel regs as you may be adding more fuel then necessary and actually be loosing power...
