I'l looking at upgrading all the under-bonnet components of my LPG setup and can't really find out the difference. Some places are quoting for the 225 saying that it flows the same and say that's all I'll need, others say they can't even get a 425 to fit... Whereas another place is quoting nearly the same price to fit the 425.
Somebody who knows about this stuff please help!!!

The numbers reflect flow capacity.
Sizing table (rough); IMPCO Max. Model CFM 125 202 175 210 200 276 225 329 300A-1, -20 348 300A-50, -70 432 425 460 225 will provide more accurate tuning & drivability at the expense of power on a 5L or larger NA engine. 425 will reduce the power less compared to the 225, but will not be quite as drivable. I have a 6 cyl running 6 PSI, and the 225 mixer drops the MAX power level, but a 425 wont physically fit on my engine layout ( On a late model engine you should be using an electronically controlled LPG metering system. Thanks mate. That's pretty much the info I was given... I've gone for the 225 as there was going to be issues fitting the 425. The 225 itself is a much bigger unit than the el cheapo (4 cylinder sized) unit that the previous owner had fitted. Can't wait to give it a burl...
