dont need to worry about the fuel line as it is a metal line
filter is under rear passenger seat ( under the floor pan )

I beg to differ the person before you ALWAYS tightens them too much and flare nut spanners are the best way to do it without TEARS. Believe me I have done literally thousands ( as a mechanic with over 40 years expreience)

No your right, you don't 'need' them, but when you can pick up an el cheepo set for the sma e price as the filter from supercrap auto why take the risk? I mean you could use a shifting spanner, but personally I don't see it worth risking when the lines are prolly a pain and expensive to replace... |

Not that bad - $30 new from ford & easy to replace. Still id rather get the old ones off without damaging them, but sometimes thats not possible
