I need a crank angle sensor and disc to allow my Wolf to run ignition on my ea mpi, can I use one from an EL?

No, you can't use an EL one, EL 6cyl's went back to the dizzy style ignition.

You need to find a new EF harmonic balancer and crank sensor, and go to a wrecker to get an EF timing chain cover.

Also pick up a new front main seal, sump gasket set and timing cover gasket plus some new oil and a new filter.

Make sure there are no old pieces of gasket on the EF timing cover

You should now be ready to start swapping things over. I hope you have the engine out of the car or at least lifted a long way up. Also drain the oil from the sump.

1. Remove the EA balancer and unbolt the belt pulley.

2. Remove the sump and timing chain cover off the EA engine.

3. Fit the EF timing chain cover, at the same time replace all the gaskets

4. Fit the EA pulley to the EF balancer and fit this to your engine.

5. Fit the EF crank angle sensor and run the wires you need to the ECU.

6. Fit sump with the new gasket set.

7. Refill with new oil and new filter.

I think I have covered everything, but if anyone can add anything please feel free.
