Car is an el, will be turbo in the coming months.. but for the moment the stock fuel pump has shat.. so in replacing it with the walbro 255.. which model would be the best to use? the 342? will it be okay to run on a stock motor for the time being??

yeah gss342 is what you want, mounts in the stock cradle no probs.
dont use normal fuel hose to connect the pump to the cradle, i did and it went soft and blew the hose apart, had to get some special submersible fuel hose from gates, bout $30 for a piece a foot long.
