Hey Fellas,
I have a '93 ED XR6 auto and I am going to change my car from a puss box Auto to a Manual because my auto has just s**t its self. I have no 2nd or 4th gear plus it was pretty well rooted before that. Anyway what i want to know is do i need to change my computer??? I have been told that i do need to and then i have also been told that i dont, so what is it???
Cheers
Griffo

you do need to change your computer, you need a manual ECU otherwise the fuel to air mix will all be up the s**t. you can proably pick one up second hand from around $90

you dont need a new computer you can add 2 resistors to the ecu wiring so it thinks its in drive all the time
