Just thought I'd share some info with you all regarding Wolf's v500 ECU.
I have been running their v500 for over a year now on my engine and just recently volunteered my car to them so that they could develop a new package add-on - to fully control the BTR auto transmission. It's been a resounding success!
The v500 can now control all aspects of the BTR in it's entirety and you can now reprogram all the transmission variables exactly to your taste. I've been able to adjust my original transmission for the higher power output I have - shift points, soft shifting, hard shifting, line pressure etc etc and the transmission now feels like new and responds perfectly to the power & torque output.
Right now my trans is set to soft shift nicely down low, shift hard when above 40% throttle and harder again when I go WOT ( which will be great for when I can get the car up to Heathcote Drags again ).
In addition, the v500 now also controls all the of the dash features and systems, climate control etc so you can do away with the original Ford ECU & ATC ( Auto Trans Computer ) and get the v500 to run as stand alone - no more piggyback setups. I got surprised when I found I could now even adjust the sensitivity of the power steering.
My original ECU's are now sitting on a bench at Wolf gathering dust.

For the v500 and the Ford adapter plug-in harness / kit, I think they're approx $2,100 or so.

The V550 update is either due for release or has been released - all things looking very promising - closed loop boost control off the top of my head.

Vic - How is your trans holding up these days?
