i've just bought an el xr6 motor. the plan is to get RPD 6 throttle body setup, a big cam and run 6 coils/crank angle sensor from an EF instead of a dizzy. what will be able to run all this as well as the normal functions of my ED XR6?

a microtech could do it, as could many other EMS/ECU replacements. but what about the factory gauges, smartlock and a few other things the factory ecu does? i want everything in the car to work as much as possible. i know i'll lose the trip computer cos it requires a special signal the ECU produces, but everything else will need to run.

also forget AC. im willing to let that go in stead of power/price of ems.

EMS 8860 will handle all that without a problem. Mine handles Sequential injection, NOS, and all the factory stuuf. The Factory ECU is still there for smartlock, climate and other associated bits and pieces. The EMS runs the motor and stuff to do with the motor

Not an RPD megasquirt, but if you get the 'normal' MS2 then it depends - If you want to run 6 coils then no. If you want to use 3 coils like the EF EDIS then yes.
