A guy from work showed me his car this morning.. not in a good way.
1.6L Ford Laser LX He said it was getting too hot, and also water had been surging back out the over flow bottle. (ok right there we knows its F'd) I had a look and sure enough its blowing water out the exhaust, and when it idles its hunting. Im just wondering if a bottle of chemi-weld is likely to get this guy going, short term. Im told that if its the head gasket that chemi-weld isnt going to help and will make it a bastard to ever repair such a gasket. Funds for old mate are limited. He could afford a head gasket replacement, or a bottle of chemi-weld but not a head rebuild. Which do you guys think would be the option of choice? |
