Hi,

I am looking to do some performance modifications to my 2009 1.8 TDCi Ford Fiesta Zetec S but I am new to this and have no idea what I can/cant do.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Steve

being a diesel you are limited in some ways i guess. you could get a free flowing air filter. like a K&N. but i'm not sure if you have that brand in the U.K
get a turbo back exhaust that is more free flowing than the standard one. will make it a bit louder though.
i have also heard of power chips for the engine computer used on diesel. you will lose some fuel economy though

Wildeb is pretty much on the money.
Although diesels with chips normally return better economy.
Have a look at steinbaur chips, they have proven to make power improve economy and till meet current euro emissions standards.
I know they do the focus and mondeo, not sure about the fiesta though.

Being that diesels spend most of the time on boost, even at cruise it's not uncommon to see 5 or 6psi or more at motorway speeds, a good sizes Tube and fin intercooler will help.
Bar and plate isn't good for diesel.
