Hi all, I've picked up a 91 ford capri ... I was just wondering, How to take the roof down??? I did not get any intructions on how to do it!!! ... Does it fold away into into the boot??

Hi,

1st release the 2 catches on the front inside of the roof. Then pull the front of the roof back enough to release the back bottom of the roof and pull it over to the middle of the roof. Then open the passenger door and insert your boot key into the lock beside the passenger door and turn it then pull on the bottom handle to release the cover behind the rear seat and lift it up towards the rear of the car.

Now you can lower the rear of the roof containing the window back down. Then begin to pull the front of the roof backwards - the rear of the roof will start to go into the opening behind the rear seat. When folding back the top you will notice the middle bar - push this backwards or the roof will refuse to fold all the way.

but worked it out now ..
