I understand lots of people say that the expolorers have lots of mechanical, gearbox and electrical problems.

Can anyone tell me their experience with them AFTER their car has had these prolems and been FIXED or has bought a 2nd hand one that has had the problems fixed..

Do they reoccur or once fixed they seem to be a reliable car???

i live in Gawler, South Australia and you see them EVERYWHERE. i would say i have seen atleast 10 diff ones getting around and 3 of the newer looking ones.

LOL i know i have alot of questions, We have decided we really like the look of these cars and would love to have one but want to make it 100% sure that they are deff not worth buying before we write them off !!!

Hi there,
My wife and i would also find out some info about the Explorer, as she wants one aswell.
They do look nice but i've been abit iffy on them after hearing bad reports on them.
But as you say would they be any good or better if the problems have been fixed?.
Would be interesting to find out also!!.
