well i took the head off, and was kinda glad to find a stuffed head gasket. anyway here are some pictres, but a new gasket and a light cleanup how do you think i will go?? car is being fixed on the cheaper side.
See if i use a sanding block over the whole head it might come out?? one bolt was really really tight and another was really loose but i cant remember if the loose or tight bolt was where the gasket went. anyone have any ideas why a chunk like that was missing could it be coasued by overtighning or overheating?? or just failure |

more then likely its a detonation issue.
you'll need to have the head shaved or it going to blow out there again. |

Lookin at the rusty appearence in the water ports.....lack of coolant/inhibitor changes????
Thats not good either............been off before too...Monotorque gasket. Use Hylomar on the new gasket.....will keep it stuck.
