surely it can be done,
xr6t or f6 motor, 3 speed auto. not sure about how that will go about dropping into an e series but im sure that can be done for miles under 15 grand!
also with that money you could sell your t5 and all its bits (plenty of people will pay good money for that) and sell your old motor, exhaust etc.

witht the money left over do the usual mods to the turbo motor such as a tune, intercooler, exhaust, intake, injectors, fuel pump.
very high diff gears and a very high high stall.
could even run some n2o

this guy may be a dreamer or he may not be.
the questions you have to ask your self are do you want it road worthy or just as a strip car
if its a strip car theres alot of weight u could get rid of. selling bits as you rip them out such as back seats.
15 grand could go a long way, its just how you spend it and how you want the car to turn out in the end.

People saying it can't be done(morons), i would class you as people that don't know how to manage money.

People are calling him a dreamer, thou who doesn't dream?

Whats the point you ask? Who cares, its what he wants to do and im sure he has his reasoning.

It can be done, its going to take a bit to get there and you have aot of homework and research to do to get the best from your 15g. Getting some new friends in the right places may come in handy .

Maybe you could work on 2 ideas V8 build (you could spend 15g just on a V8 thou  ) and a boosted 6 build. Decide on an engine and work it out with prices what you need for each engine to get the power you need for a 10sec pass. I reckon your looking for around 500-600HP/370 - 450kw.

If you want some fun go for a fully manualised C4 gear box(not a boring power glide). Theres plenty of go fast bits for these as well as the 9" diff, lock it up with say 3.9 gears? And dont forget the fats, as "most" know getting the power to the ground is essential.

Anyways, have fun dont let the "mOroNs" with there negative attitude bad money handling skills get to you.

Good luck, feel free to start a build thread in the garage i would subscribe,

Regards,

Michael.

So a 10 second falcon is a falcon that takes 10 seconds to get from 0km/hr to 100km/hr?

10sec on the strip
10sec to go 402.336 meters from a stand still.

Ditto, and a 10 second falcon without a tough auto (if that's the route your going) and driveline will last a few runs if you're lucky, even with a big f**k off tranny cooler. If you intend to go manual then tko or t56 are your options.

Get an au motor straight up. Get it rebuilt with some decent parts Gt35-40 turbo and get it hi flowed. A c4 auto and a 3500 stall with some 4.11 gears you want it to big peak revs just after you cross the line. As for the diff you'd want a 9 inch. The standed diff with a locker will do it. But it will cost less in long run to get a 9in. You'd want a 10 in slick as well. Lots of weight reduction too. But dont forget you've gotta factor in stuff like race seat 5 point harness roll cage. Depending on mph you run you'll need a chute too. 15g you might be able to do it if you can do everything yourself. 25g would definately do it. Cause you need tailshaft loop but there cheap enough 110 i think. A trans brake is needed to to get it going off the line. 10's aren't cheap nor easy. Sounds easy enough but it all adds up.

Mate, you're the moron, you've got NFI.

I'm all for people wanting to try new things, have great ideas etc. etc.
But when they come on here with stream of consciousness, partly formed, lump of turd thoughts, then they are dreamers.
Do some goddamn research, and stop expecting to be handfed everything.
Not that hes getting handfed anything decent anyway
How many people in here telling the OP exactly how to build this car actually have 10 second falcons LOL

Ignore it all, look at hiboost, look at fritzz, look at ebs4l, look at TUFED6, look at eabaturbo, look at all the turbo 4Ls making 350+rwkw and take their ideas that work and build something thats yours.
It will work alot better then listening to some of these suggestions hahaha
