True, CVE and Scott have said there was some issues with the power steering, issues on the dyno the week before which they didnt get around to fixing.
worth .4kw on the dyno apparently :P

Good to see it can be done.
All he has to do now is get the suspension sorted, It hardly lifted the front at all.

Thanks very much guys. I was very happy with the result .
Unfortunatly the person who built it can't post on this site, otherwise he would let you all know. we have no secrets
Ok for all you guys asking what it has here it is
3.9 ea std bottom end,
ported head,
custom cam, 4.11's
t5
ice ignition
and has had a custom tune with the wolf ecu.
Paul at CVE had spent ages refining it and many hours on the dyno as it has died the last 2 drag meets we went( CLutch and tune at one ,and gearbox at other) , so we never got to really show it's full potential.
12.89 as everyone can see was during the day This was at 16/ 17 degrees for the other run
60ft was 1.8050
330ft was 5.3220
660 ft was 8.2472 @ 83.29
1000ft was 10.77
12.89 @ 109.70mph

I got my confidence as the night went on but ended up as john said doing a got 60 ft but had a engine mount let go and break my tps. Temp then was around the 7.5 degrees

As for the Power steering we had a mishap on the night of tuning and as john said it was about .4 kw of difference. ( it was better to have it off then have a fire under engine bay at track) .
Power steering will be back on when tps and engine mounts are fixed later this week.
we had thought about taking the interior and seats out as well as headlight
but thought maybe save that for next time.

We may have another go at it soon . We will have to see.

Has he removed the heater box?

The heater pipes dont appear to be loading.

the heater hoses hit on the t/body so were cut off as it jammed the tps once.
We pretty much didnt want to be dogged by little crap problems
I have some of the car getting re carpeted-(original is pretty crap) later this week . I may just pull the whole box out because it doesnt do much anyway .
Ac never worked and heater was s**t

Im assuming you were in 4th across the line? I say assuming because i run 3.89s on my daily driver with a t5, and 2nd gear takeoffs arnt much of a hassle. I have to refrain from doing 2nd gear burnouts because clutch says no, but its just a s**t oem replacement. Whats got me thinking is 4th gear, 109 mph I would struggle to do that in the AU. Is your rev limit raised significantly? And would tire profile make that much of a difference to your in gear speed? amazing work, not only a rad time, but it actually has a nice sound as well, which I wasnt expecting from such a heavy duty setup.

hitting limiter in 4th gear on the finish line with one set of rears and 5000 rpm in other .
THe limiter is at 6000 or 6100 .
And it all comes down to tire size and diff. There is a maths to it which paul has worked out
not me

aren't you one of the same princesses that used to shed a tear over "street trim" every time the Mock EB came up?

You cant claim street spec with exceptions! :P Its either street trim or its got slicks and front runners. Not both.

Its still faster though so well done.

How many years ago did the Mock's stop trying with their NA car?
