Time is very impressive, but it's pretty much set up for drag use only, if you get a DEV5 kit on a street driven car I don't think you'll be able to get that time.

I've got a complete DEV5, in full street trim the best i've managed so far is 14.4 @ 99.5 MPH

ok thats a fair comment but he did get a 4.0l eb n/a vehicle to run 13.3 with his kit even if it is setup for strip that is one impresive time

You'll struggle to get that with a street driven setup, its been discussed on here before about what was done with the JMM EB to get that time, it was done a long time ago.
That same red EB will be well into the 9s shortly, its got the 600+rwhp motor out of the JMM EF in it.
Much awesomeness.

Expect consistent low 14s with a Dev5 setup in a street driven manual EA, if everything is good.
I'd be leaning towards just slapping the Dev5 cam in your current EL XR6 motor if I was you though, save some dosh.

'ebturb' on here has gone 14.2 at (from memory?) 97mph at Calder with a dev5 cam in his EB, which has a stock rebuilt EL XR motor, a cleaned up EL XR head, AU headgasket, EL XR ECU, T5 with a PBR XR6 clutch and 3.45 diff gears.
With his street driven 17" rims too.

If you aren't going to be satisfied with low 14s, get boost or nitrous, cause you'll be pissing your cash away staying N/A.
