Excellent result from your combo. Would be interested to know how it goes on the street tyres as a comparison - for those of us who don't have access to race tyres. Congrats on a great time.

ea_falcon - My cam isn't as lumpy as hell, you cant even tell that it has a cam... also the bored out throttle body got me more low down pickup then anything, and at calder the car didn't dip below 3500rpm.

gogetta - I'm running the 4499 pacie headers with a 3 inch flange on the end of it :)

troyman - I will post up the dyno sheet when i get home from work :)

metasaiah - i've ran before with street tires, december last year, it was 36 degrees and i had the filter in the bonnet, it did a 14.5 @ 100 mph (161 km's) with absolute traction problems, spun all of 2nd as well.

Just wanna say a big thanks to the guys supporting me, i really appreciate it!

also if anyone can host my video, its 76MB, ill send it !

cheers

- Grechie

You have some catching up to do Matt. :D As already said awesome time Grechie, those semi slicks look no better than a decent pair of Grid`2 's. Glad you didn't strip your interior out like the BA boys lol.

2 thumbs up, I think you have nailed a perfect combination of mods. A+++ Getting close to Brendans 'drag spec' EB now. This shows that JMM aren't the be all and end all.

Again well done. Be sure to put the time in the Quarter mile registry.
Ef fairmont with all d fruit.. = more weight.. and when i actauly try racing with slicks... watch out!

They will be sorted this week matt. Have sourced another rim and will be putting them on stockers so they clear the guards

Yes, 236/60/15 MT Dragh Radials

yeah 235 isnt so bad, but i noticed a large improvement in traction when i went from 235's on 6" stockies then had the stockies widened to 7"

Yes i know. I went form 2.2 to 1.8 just with the Drag Radials. Prior to that i was running 255/40/17 Nexxus on AU S1 17's. The 235's are currently on 8 in Dragways, that dont fit e-series unless you massage the guards.
