Hey Guys
Some of you's know of my car already and some of you dont, its a EA mocked up to be a EB GT. She has NO HEADWORK, just shaved to raise comp, ACL bottom end, Bored Out TB, Pod Filter out the bonnet, FULL 3 inch exhaust, and a Wade1673 Cam with 3.7 LSD and a EA-T5 running on a STOCK TICKFORD ECU with AU injectors. I bought some semi slicks off a member the other week, and put them on for tonite, wasnt looking like i was going to get much runs being there was STACKS of cars... Headed down with my mate josh whos a member on here, and managed 3 before they shut the gates. 1st run was with 22PSI in the semi slicks, i dumped it 4000rpm and got axle tramp and wheel spin with a average shift into 3rd...managed 14.076 @ 159.79KM/H with a 1.998 60 Footer, then we downed the pressure to 18PSI and i did a btter burnout and managed a 13.902 @ 160.91KM/H with a 1.909 60 Footer this time hitting the rev limiter in 4th at a decent distance from the finish, so i just held it. Then i managed a 13.797 @ 157.16KM/H with a 1.921 60 Footer and i was silly enough to attempt 5th which i missed so i beilive i lost some KM/H trying to, maybe a 13.6 was in stores if i held the limiter in 4th instead... Either Way, i have PROVED to all the haters out there, that the RWKW dyno readings ive been pulling lately arent just numbers, its felt real quick, and lately pulled 177RWKW thanks to paul from CVE, just by mucking with the timing a bit. Im VERY happy with this time, as i beilive its ONE of the fastest N/A 4L i6 times out there, (up with OED666 etc) So i just wanna say thanks to the people who beilived in me, and STFU to the people that doubted me and said, "run it, no way a stock head can flow over 160rwkw" Cheers -Grechie P.S ill post up the time slips when i scan them some time tommorow!

Interesting with the 3" exhaust. Much difference over the 2.5? Nice time by the way!

Hey guys
gogetta - I have a stock EB head with au headgasket, just shaved to raise the compression FordFairmont not sure on the comp ratio, ill have to do a compression test soon n get back to yas EL__Fairmont, im running the EA-ED log manifold with a bored out TB Doofus to be honest, i didnt notice any more power with the 3 inch to start off with, but when i got the timing backed off and dyno'd it, it pulled more power up top. green car - My PB before all this was 14.43 @ 96mph and yea my car is Naturally Aspirated.

this confirms that porting does f**k all on these heads...
if u have a look at the ports they look quite good stock, maybe just a small cleanup of casting dags (not that there are many) and port matching.... if u look at the ports on an old 351 for eg, they look totally s**t and its no wonder people port them.....seems modern heads generally dont need much done to them ill be rebuilding my EF XR6 motor soon and this has convinced me to save the money on head work and put it toward a good cam and tuning instead...

Ive read somewheres that the falcon head from EB-AU is good to flow in excess of 300 hp stock. so say 325 hp for example is about 239 kw... 239 engine kw would read around 170+ rwkw, so its definately within reason that anyone that doubts your power figures is just jealous
good work mate. Id say you have gone about as far as the head alone can go without internal work. champion!
