ah... ok. no worries, always thought if u went bigger rims even thought the tyres have a lower profile tyre, there was still a difference. and even if it is a touch out, i would still want it fixed just incase something happens on day with the coppers going snap happy

Most speedos are out by a bit anyway, in car mag road tests they always state actual speed vs indicated speed at 100km/h and even the brand new cars from ther factory are usually a couple km's out.

I wouldn't worry, might even make your speedo more acurate.

Ride: BA MkII XT with XR^ spolier @ 17

I just had a upgrade from AU II SR to BA MkII XT and fitted XR6 17'' alloys.
Using tyre size calulator, when speedo reads 100 kph, over road speed is 98.7 kph, that is 1.3% difference. I dont think this is worth worring about, I doubt that the speedo has that accuracy.
