Sorry but this is from another ford site but just want to let you ba guys/girls known of the potential of the ba's and the new tuning.

Remember this is from a totally stock ba, this is what was said:

I am proud to announce that BPT/D&T in Perth were the first to see, touch and use in real life the SCT/CAPA Flash Tune software and hardware.

Let me start off by saying... This is some awesome gear. The complete package from a tuning point of view is everything and more that I expected.

The first cab off the rank was a bulk STOCK XT 6 cylinder, within two tweeks of the software we achieved a very conservative figure of 146rwkw's from a stock level of 133rwkw's.

There was no smoke and mirrors with what you are going to see, just fact and tested by us in person.

See thumbnail of actual dyno run attatched.

Barry.

Yeah ive been watching on...er.... another forum... with great interest.

I can tell you, as an EF owner, i am SO JEALOUS of BA owners and what SCT/CAPA have developed. Particularly seeing the benefits my supercharged engine could gain from such an edit.

Still the same old problem with our EEC-V tho. Doesnt look promising.

Keep up the good work tho Barry. The LS-1 now has NOTHING over the boss and barra engines. A good day for Ford.

Man the EFs been around for just a tad over 10 years why cant they do anything with that? Holden owners only thing they have on Ford is they are easier to tune the stock ECUs.

Good news for the BA owners though. Sounds impressive.

I guess these days you don't get much for a dollar but a 10% increase in rwkw for undr $1500 for a new car must be pretty good value for money. Any hints and tips from the guys and gals as to what sort of increases can be made using a cam and exhaust with the new programs?

If you check past posts I have dyno'd results of 206 at flywheel kilowatts from exhaust and air intake on my BA XR6. What will this new flash give me. How can I get hold of tech info.

They are sold by CAPA. As in the supercharger kit people.

SCT/CAPA are from over east, its just this place in Perth was one of the first to test it. (finally something first in Perth)

It is available through:

www.capa.com.au

www.norcom.net.au/~bpt/products.htm

Capa are the main distrubitor and have trained people like BPT.

Herrod also have their own "flasher" coming out.

Remember this was done with a stock ba 6, if you do exhaust, ext, cai, filter and then get it custom tuned like the "LS1 edit" guys then you can get some real decent gains.

They also did a ba 6 turbo and got a 50 rwkw gain but his also invloved upping the boost by 2 psi.
