Does anyone no how to make the car not stop at 180KPH. Im guessing everone is aware that they are speedlimeted but was wondering if asnyone new how to fix this issue.

After 180 the tail shaft can become unsafe and fail causing a fatal accidient.

Or get an aftermarket ECU and a 2 peice tail shaft. shiftkits.com.au i think have a speed limiter romaval chip for not very much

The EL Fairmont ghia still ran a 3" steel driveshaft so it would be wise to replace it with a driveshaft from an XR6 (Alloy) even before you contemplate exceeding 180. For details on what happens look up "Why speed limiters are good"

I plan on modifying my fairmont a fair bit and there is no point leaving a car unable to unleash its potential. Im sure you can see my point of view. Anyway 180KPH isnt all that fast. My old mans XW did 175. Oh yes thats MPH to. Doors used to suck out from the car. Thats fast!!

Well then you should spend thousands on custom suspension to make it actually handle well at 180kph before you wanna go any faster

it may be tickford but is ain't perfect you can never pass on stuff that will or would hold the car more stable.
