Hi guys
my 1994 EF 4.0 auto has devoloped a starting problem & that problem is some times when I go to start it, I have all ignition lights & such but dont seem to have power going to starter motor but I hear clicking noise behind the dash & have to leave car for a while then try again later to start it witch seems to work? this problem seems to happen at any temp even cold cheer's Dino |

Try holding the key over to the 'start' position while giving the lower dash just above your left knee a thump. If the car starts then, you have a dry joint in the B.E.M. (Body Electrics Module, controls lighting, variable wipers, smartlock etc..). Is becoming a common issue with these cars as they age.
Can be repaired but it's easier to replace the whole unit.
