Ok so i got a quote from an exhaust mech. and i said i wanted a sort of a growl and deep sound they quoted this:
2 1/2 sports exhaust system
resonator
pacemaker extractors

just wondering if anyone would know the type of sound it makes.. because ive read around and some people have similar systems, and say they are sorta.. not growly or what not sooo any ideas what i should get if this doesnt do it? :D

I am running lukey headers with a 2 1/2 inch redback exhaust and it sounds quite nice. has a growl and a rumble at idle and almost the whole way through the rev range. Exhaust tip choice can also affect what sort of sound you get from the rear slightly. The best way to find out how it sounds is to give it a go. You will more than likely enjoy the sound and power gains of the system anyway. I started off with a twin muffler 2 1/2 inch exhaust and ended up buying a single muffler system because it wasn't quite what I was after.

i have an XForce quad exhaust on my BA , and it has a very nice deep sound.
On my old AU i had Pacemakers, Hi Flo Cat, and 2.5inch Red Back system and that was nice, but at times did have some drone

Straight through wide body mufflers on a sports system sound good, they give it a deeper note & it doesn't sound as harsh. They they take the 6cyl drone noise away too & the cops don't bug you for too much noise
